Five Years in Heaven, John Schlimm (book)

As young adults and simply, human beings, we sometimes get lost in the constant want of money and success. John Schlimm worked with some of the biggest stars in Nashville and served under the most powerful people in the White House. In search of a new beginning, hope, and purpose John went back to his small-town roots and soon met an unexpected new friend, teacher, and mentor who happened to be a nun. Sister Augustine taught him the meaning of love, life, humility, and second chances.

In Five Years in Heaven, John and Sister Augustine’s friendship remind us that we can find love and joy in the most unlikely of places and that true happiness is always within our reach.
