- In the first reading from Deuteronomy, Moses urges the people to not forget how far God has taken them in their journey for salvation, despite the journey being a difficult one. When was a time you faced a crisis and felt the need for God’s presence? How did you know God was there? How were you helped?
- The second reading from Corinthians talks about “one body” and “one loaf.” What are some examples of ways you can connect to the wider Catholic or Christian Church? How does this wider faith community come together and celebrate its diversity?
- In the Gospel, Jesus states that those who feed from him will also have life because of him. What examples of sacrifice from Jesus’ life have the most meaning for you? What are some examples of his teachings that have helped you put others’ needs before your own?
