Readings for June 17, 2012, 11th Sunday in Ordinary Time: Ezekiel 17:22-24; 2 Corinthians 5:6-10; Mark 4:26-34
Suggested Reflection Questions:
- How is the seed of your own faith life doing? Is it taking root? Is it flourishing? Does it need something to help it along (more water, shade, sun, etc.) What are you doing to nurture it?
- Ultimately, the growth of the seed (and of us) is in God’s hands alone, though we may act as gardeners for God. Who in your life has tended the seed of your soul? Have you served as a gardener for someone?
- The second reading talks about being courageous. What does it mean to be courageous as a Christian in today’s world?
