Readings for Sunday, May 12 — Seventh Sunday of Easter
Acts 1:15-17, 20a, 20c-26; Ps 103:1-2, 11-12, 19-20; 1 Jn 4:11-16; Cf. Jn 14:18; Jn 17:11b-19
Suggested Reflection Questions:
- The first reading shows the disciples making an important leadership decision based on prayer. How big a role does your faith play in your own decision-making process? How could you let God play a bigger part in the decisions you make?
- God is love. That means that God is really present in our relationships with each other. How can you help your important relationships “remain in love” and be places where God lives?
- God has “sent” each of us into the world, and also into our particular families, workplaces, friendships, and relationships. What do you feel God is calling you to do, to be, or to receive in each of those places?
