February 12, 2012, Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time
Leviticus 13:1-2, 44-46; 1 Corinthians 10:31-11:1; Mark 1:40-45
Suggested Reflection Questions:
- The second reading challenges us to “do everything for the glory of God.” How can you glorify God through the normal, everyday activities of your life?
- When Jesus heals the leper in today’s Gospel reading, he personally connects with him and physically touches him, even though doing so makes him “unclean” according to the law. When have you reached outside of your comfort zone in order to respond to God’s call to love?
- As news of this healing spreads, overwhelming crowds start flocking to Jesus. What do you imagine drew people to Jesus so powerfully?
