Are some of the young adults in your parish headed back to college? Maybe you’ve seen young adults move on to the next stages, places, and jobs in their lives. Don’t forget to stay in touch! You can assemble care packages for college students (include healthy snacks, fun sticky notes, pens, movie tickets for downtime, a small devotional book, and a copy of your parish newsletter or bulletin) or housewarming gifts for young adults who’ve moved away (include a guidebook to their new city/state, a gift certificate to a restaurant in their new neighborhood, a photo of your young adult group, and a copy of your parish newsletter or bulletin). Include a card or handwritten note and invite them to come visit whenever they are back in town.
