Young adults are often unsure of the proper path to take in life. To help them along, host an event that will assist them in discerning their vocation, in a religious or lay sense. Invite your priest to discuss his call to ministry, describe the ordination process, and answer questions about the priestly life. Also, have a nun from either your church or a nearby convent speak about her life and vocation. This type of event is also valuable for people to discover that they are not ready for religious life. Invite members of your lay ministry to discuss how they live out God’s call in their own lives. Faithful lay parishioners are just as important to the Church as priests and nuns. This event is a helpful way to show young adults possible future plans for life.
