Quick Tips

Honor College Grads

Table of Contents

Be sure to recognize the college graduates in your midst (undergrad and graduate students) with a special celebration. In addition to recognition at Mass, plan a special time either before or after Mass for other members of the congregation to meet and greet their graduates. You might ask for volunteers to provide light refreshments (maybe breakfast foods for a morning Mass; wine, cheese, and crackers for Mass later in the day). Present each young adult with a special graduation gift. For example: a book of prayers or even a basket of local foods or gifts (if graduates will be moving away after college).
