Doing a community service project or a mission trip? Try to record some footage of each young adult at work. Pull them away and ask them some questions about the work they are doing. Ask them what they think about the work they are doing? What is easy about it? What is difficult? Share the video with young adults or provide them with a DVD copy of all the footage at a follow-up meeting and ask them where they saw themselves coming alive and where they found themselves not enjoying the tasks. Then facilitate a small group discussion around the insight and introduce young adults to the Ignatian Examen.
