Caring for God’s creation is not limited to Earth Day alone. Gather the young adults for springtime, outdoor activities that also care for the planet! You might plant some new flowers around the parish or in an older parishioner’s yard. Turn your care into action and organize a letter-writing party with snacks and drinks and write notes to local/state/federal officials about an environmental issue that young adults are passionate about. And encourage (if they haven’t already) young adults to sign the St. Francis pledge from the Catholic Climate Covenant to affirm their commitment to caring for creation.
