Ash Wednesday is the BIGGEST day of the year for church attendance. So, make sure you are ready to welcome young adults to your parish! Ask for volunteers from your young adult group to serve as greeters during services. Prepare a small postcard for greeters to hand to any guest young adults. Include any activities at your parish that are young adult friendly, information about a Mass that’s either specifically for or usually attended by a lot of young adults, and contact information if someone wants to get involved with the young adults at your parish. EVERYONE (every age) can help with this, but be especially sure to ask young adults because it’s important for young adult visitors to see young adults are active in the parish.
