For the past few months, gossip blogs and news platforms have been in a flurry over the recent fall of former teen star Amanda Bynes. Millennials remember her fondly as the star of such TV shows and films as “All That,” “The Amanda Show,” She’s the Man, and more recently, Easy A. However, her life and public image have recently spiraled into a mess of Twitter fights, unkempt wigs, and drug allegations. The star was recently arrested and as part of the court agreement, she is about to get the help that she needs. Just like all of us journeying to find the our best self, Amanda is slowly taking her own road to recovery. Her journey to rehabilitation provides a nice example for those of us who are really down in the dumps — that even at the worst of times, it’s not too late to begin anew.
