Description: This Digital Scavenger Hunt is a self-directed time of searching and reflecting on our Christian journey.
Get Ready
- Prep Time: Review the Scavenger Hunt materials in the Help section below. Allow time to do some publicity among young adults (details below).
- Volunteers Needed: None.
- Supplies: Computer or mobile device.
- Reserve the Space: No space needed for this non-gathered event.
- Ideal Group Size: Unlimited.
- Who is this for? Any young adult.
- When is a good time for this? This program is done on your own time, so anytime is great.
- Publicize the Program:
- Because the Digital Scavenger Hunt program is all online, the best way to publicize it is via online outlets: Facebook, Twitter, e-mails, etc.
- Advertise in your bulletin to let young adults know about this self-directed program.
Prayer for Program Planner: God who created all things, bless us as we share this Digital Scavenger Hunt with young adults. You have used Pope Francis to remind us that the Internet is a “gift from God.” Help us to use this important tool to deepen our faith and increase our spiritual knowledge. Amen.
Community Building: This program is meant to be done individually, but could be extended to have a community building component. Consider building an online community (such as a private Facebook Group) for young adults to share their findings with one another.
Make It Happen
