Quick Tips

Baking Christmas Cookies

Table of Contents

Break out the aprons, oven mitts, and cookie cutters! Host an afternoon of cookie baking in someone’s home or the parish kitchen. Ask young adults to provide recipe ideas before the event and buy the ingredients you need. Also, ask young adults to bring a storage container to take some cookies home. Provide some holiday beverages — hot chocolate, eggnog, or cider! You might also want to make some cookie care packages for your parish priest or people who are homebound at your parish. Put these in a festive box or container. Add a card and personal note and deliver them when you finish your baking (and cookie tasting).
