Suggested Reflection Questions:

• This week’s reading from the Wisdom of Ben Sirach reminds us that we have an important choice to make: will we embrace good or evil, life or death? This scripture passage tells us that sin and injustice are never commanded by God. How does this inform the way we approach ethical issues? Can we be moral relativists and Catholic Christians?
• Paul writes to the Corinthians of a wisdom that is holy and eternal. It belongs to God and is given to us by the Holy Spirit. It is not a wisdom based on the popular mores and ideologies. Where do we encounter God’s wisdom? How can we be witnesses to that wisdom in our time?
• Jesus tells his disciples that they must make peace with their brothers before coming to offer their sacrifice in the temple. How are we called to make peace in our own lives before attending Mass?
