Try to promote a welcoming environment by encouraging the practice of bringing in friends of those involved in young adult ministry. Having a friend around might help someone come out of their comfort zone and get more involved. It also may help the friend connect more with their own faith life. Welcoming new people with open arms helps grow the young adult community.
