Many young people have nowhere to go for Thanksgiving — especially if they are going to college or working far away from their families. Invite them over for Thanksgiving dinner and share your harvest this year. Have everyone bring their favorite dish from when they have Thanksgiving at home to make it that much more welcoming and fun. Who knows? You may make some lifelong friends. One couple I know who did this was invited to India by their guest and had an amazing experience visiting their home years later.
