Stay Warm: Winter Clothing Swap

Table of Contents

The weather is getting colder, so host a clothing swap that features winter gear. Invite young adults to bring gently used clothes, bags, jewelry, and even shoes and display these items on tables or coat racks for everyone to see. Provide bags (or ask young adults to bring their own) and tell them they are free to take what they need. Serve hot chocolate or cider and snacks to encourage conversation among swappers. Gather the clothes that remain at the end of the swap and donate them to Goodwill or another organization with a clothing ministry.
