It is not uncommon for young adults to move to a brand new city and turn to the internet or social media in order to find a new parish. Making sure that your website, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc is active and up-to-date is a great way to bring new young adults to your parish.
Here are just a few examples of how you can keep your online presence active:
- Share your parish’s livestream to your Facebook page
- Make a Facebook event for each of your upcoming events
- Link your Instagram and Facebook so that your Facebook page is filled with your engaging photos
- Keep an eye out for private messages and DMs for young adults who reach out looking for more information
However, social media is not the only way to recommend your parish to others. Don’t forget the power of word-of-mouth. Invite a friend to church with you! They might just become a fellow parishioner.
