Don’t be afraid to be raw with your faith; have honest conversations about the topics that many parishes why away from, such as abortion, gay marriage, racial justice, or immigration. Create  spaces to talk and act on issues that are impacting young people and our world, and offer a chance to root those conversations in the rich soil of faith. Get rid of the stigma about talking about anything that could be remotely political or controversial and seek truth and clarity. You may also have an opportunity to create a focus group, or a committee to talk about large world issues in a church centered way.
