Mass and a Meal

Young adults come together to celebrate the liturgy and then share a simple meal. Subsequently, they are invited to participate in another meal, hosted at the home of a young adult, and discuss issues of hunger, food security, and simplicity. It’s a great program that can be replicated throughout the year.

Rachel Longest has spent the last 10 years working with youth and young adults in ministry. She previously held the position of Coordinator of Young Adult Ministry for the Archdiocese of New Orleans, and is currently serving as Campus Minister for Outreach at Bishop McNamara High School in Forestville, Maryland.
