This service project experience for young adults is designed to be manageable for the busy young adult’s schedule and meant to engage them in service opportunities in their community.
Using Philippians 1 as a guide, young adults will embark on a three-part journey of practical Scripture study, discernment, service projects, and community gathering and discussion.
This program is an interactive experience of scripture, art, and faith sharing -- but you don't need to be a Van Gogh to lead it (or be involved)! This can be done on its own or incorporated as a prayer experience into other young adult programs.
Young adults gather to watch movies and discuss relevant issues highlighted in the films. Discussion ideas invite young adults to consider these issues in light of their own experiences and Church teaching.
This weekly meal and scripture program gives young adults the opportunity to reflect on the Sunday readings during Lent in a setting that builds community and provides nourishment for body and soul.
