Robert Barros-Bailey

Robert Barros-Bailey has served as director of Treasure Valley Young Adult Ministry, a regional ministry supported by seven parishes in Ada County, Idaho, since its inception. Robert Barros-Bailey resides in Hidden Springs, Idaho, and is married to Dr. Mary Barros-Bailey. They have two wonderful daughters. He has served as a Naval Intelligence Officer, Scout Executive, and deputy city clerk prior to taking his current position with the Catholic Church in 2008. Robert is currently in formation to be ordained a Deacon in the Roman Rite in 2012. Robert graduated from Old Dominion University with a bachelor’s degree in physical oceanography in 1984. He holds a master’s degree in public administration from Golden Gate University in San Francisco and a master’s degree in pastoral studies from Saint Mary’s University in Minnesota. His master’s thesis was entitled “The Theology of Social Networking.”
