Genevieve Jordan Laskey

Genevieve Jordan Laskey previously served as executive director of Romero Center Ministries in Camden, New Jersey. In 2007, after volunteering overseas with Mother Teresa’s Missionaries of Charity in Spitak, Armenia, Genevieve completed her master’s degree in theology through Notre Dame’s Echo Faith Formation Leadership Program.

Throughout four gatherings during Lent, participants watch Henri Nouwan’s “Becoming the Beloved” sermon, explore the theme of becoming the beloved, and reflect on their relationship with self, God, and others.
Welcoming Christ the Migrant
This program includes three, 1 1/2-2 hour small group sessions that connect the infancy narratives and scriptural passages about Jesus entering the world to the Church’s teaching on migration.
Lenten Faith Sharing Communities: Walking Together in the Desert
This program empowers young adults to lead small faith-sharing communities with their peers. Throughout four weekly meetings and an opportunity for service, participants explore the Lenten theme of “desert” to reflect on their relationship with self, God, and others.
