Isaiah 43:18-19, 21-22, 24b-25; 2 Corinthians 1:18-22; Mark 2:1-12

• In the first reading, God says, “See, I am doing something new!” When has God surprised you by doing something new and unexpected in your life?
• The Gospel reading shows Jesus forgiving sins in addition to healing physical ailments. In what ways do you need to experience Christ’s spiritual healing?
• The paralytic’s friends have such faith in Jesus’ ability to heal that they lower him in through the roof to get close to him. Have you ever felt so passionately about something that you would go to extremes to see that dream realized?
