Veterans at the Paralympics

The 2012 Paralympics opened last week in London and about 10% of this year’s U.S. team are veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. An international competition for disabled athletes, the Paralympics have become a place where war veterans can excel and some cite that it actually accelerates their recovery.
